Arson believed to be cause of fire that consumed abandoned farmhouse in northwest Minnesota
A fire that destroyed an abandoned farmhouse Thursday morning in northwest Minnesota was arson, investigators said.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office and Warren, Minn., Fire Department responded around 8 a.m. Thursday in Section 16 of Tabor Township in Polk County, near Sherack, Minn. The house was a complete loss, according to a news release.
