Knife-wielding man robs Valley Dairy in Grand Forks, police say

Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store in Grand Forks.

Officers responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. to the Valley Dairy store at 2401 S. Columbia Road, where witnesses said a knife-wielding man walked in and demanded money. The suspect fled with a "undetermined amount of money," according to a news release.

"The man was wearing a larger blue jacket, chopper mittens, bomber style hat and white scarf," police said in a release, adding the suspect had "a stocky build and was wearing white gym style shoes."

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the robbery should call the Grand Forks Police Department at (701) 787-8000.
