Highway Patrol plans Wednesday saturation patrol in northeast N.D.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol will be out in force Wednesday watching for motorists who have been drinking or driving irresponsibly.

The Patrol will conduct a traffic and alcohol saturation along Interstate 29 and U.S. Highway 2 from 4 p.m. to midnight with cooperation from sheriff's offices in Grand Forks, Traill, Walsh, Pembina, Nelson, Ramsey, Benson and Pierce counties, according to a Patrol news release.

Twenty Patrol officers will be covering 158 miles of highway during the saturation looking for impaired driving and other traffic violations.
