Woman injured after pickup hits tree in Pennington County
THIEF RIVER FALLS—A woman was sent to the hospital after the pickup she was driving hit a tree Wednesday morning in Pennington County.
At 8:46 a.m., Tina Louise Anderson of Red Lake Falls, Minn., was northbound on U.S. Highway 59 when her 2003 Chevrolet S10 went off the road and hit a tree near 110th Street Northeast, or about 5 miles southeast of Thief River Falls, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The 44-year-old was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Anderson was wearing her seat belt and no alcohol was involved in the crash. The State Patrol said road conditions were snowy and icy.
