Drayton gas leak evacuation lifted
The evacuation in Drayton, N.D., because of a propane leak Monday afternoon has been lifted, according to Andrew Kirking, Pembina County emergency manager.
The gas leak started at about 10:30 a.m. and ran its course by about 3:45 p.m.
Kirking said the cause of the gas leak is under investigation. It is unclear how long the investigation will take.
He said that the quantity of gas leaked did not pose a risk to the environment, but the evacuation was done as a precaution.
