DRAYTON, ND (WDAZ-TV) - UPDATE 4:25 P.M. - The Pembina County Sheriff tells WDAZ that the evacuation order has been lifted. Roads have reopened and business has resumed.
Original story: Pembina County Emergency Manager Andrew Kirking tells WDAZ a propane tanker truck at Northdale Oil is leaking gas into the atmosphere. He says the tanker is almost empty, and that only small amounts of gas are leaking. As a precaution, nearby and downwind businesses evacuated and closed. He says there is no threat to life or property. He says the plan is to allow all the gas to leave the tank and dissipate into the atmosphere.  He believes it may be this afternoon before an all clear is given.
