A unmanned aircraft camp aimed at girls will be held at UND this summer.

The UAS Camp will allow girls ages 8 to 12 to learn about drones, with hands-on experience with small unmanned aircraft. The event is sponsored by the Women's Fund from the Grand Forks Community Foundation.

The camp will take place in two sessions at Robin Hall: from July 31 through Aug. 4 and from Aug. 7 through 11. Each day will run 1 to 4 p.m.

Registration is $20 and space is limited. For more information, call Amanda Brandt with the UND College of Aerospace at (701) 732-0592 or email UASCamp2017@attarobot.com.
