NCTC expands and improves student housing in Thief River Falls

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.—Funds have been awarded for the development of student housing adjacent to the Northland Community and Technical College campus in Thief River Falls, Minn.

Earlier in October, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System Board of Trustees awarded a $1.1 million grant to ORB Management to develop housing, which is part of a $3.7 million project to purchase and renovate Foxtail Apartment Complex.

According to a news release, the NCTC Foundation is scheduled to purchase the property in May and plans to have the 144-bed complex renovated for occupancy by August.
