4 face charges after stabbing at home northwest of Grand Forks
Four people face charges in state district court on charges related to the early Sunday burglary and stabbing death of a man who lived northwest of Grand Forks International Airport.
Court papers show Grand Forks County prosecutors filed charges against three men and a woman arrested in the wake of 33-year-old Ruben Cisneros Jr.'s death.
Joe Ramon Saucedo, 21, of Tucker, Ga., faces charges of Class Double AA felony murder and conspiracy to commit burglary, a Class B felony.
Carmell Mattison, assistant state's attorney for Grand Forks County, said Tuesday that Saucedo took a knife from his pocket and stabbed Cisneros several times about 1 a.m. Sunday during a break-in burglary.
Three other people, including a woman identified as the victim's former girlfriend, also face burglary-related charges: Jennifer L. Blue, 23, of Grand Forks; Vincent Jonas Gladue, 24, of East Grand Forks; and Thomas Robert Begg, 23, of Reynolds, N.D.
The three men were arrested Sunday in Polk County, Mattison said. A jail supervisor at the Tri-County Community Corrections Center in Crookston said the men each remained in jail Tuesday night. All had waived extradition and waiting to be transported to face charges in Grand Forks County.
Blue is in jail in Grand Forks and appeared at a hearing Tuesday. No bond amount was set, and her arraignment has been set for Jan. 10.
In a separate case, Blue also faces felony charges related to her alleged use of false identities last month in attempts -- three times within 24 hours -- to obtain morphine and other drugs at Altru Hospital.
Joel Cisneros, 27, younger brother of Ruben Cisneros Jr., said Blue had lived in their house while she was Ruben's girlfriend. He said he was with his brother when he died Sunday from stab wounds to his chest, abdomen, chin and arms.
Three men kicked in the door of their home shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday and said they were there "for Jennifer's stuff," he told the Herald. He said he heard Blue's voice in the background and figured she was one of two people he saw waiting in the men's pickup truck.
Mattison said a 16-year-old girl accompanied the four people she is charging.
Blue is from Belcourt, N.D. She is scheduled to appear later this week on the October drug charges.
Mattison said she has prosecuted Gladue and Begg previously.
Cisneros said the suspects took two Honda cars from the driveway at the Cisneros house. In previous court documents, Blue indicated she owned a 1998 Honda Civic.
