The WNBA has crafted a marketing campaign around some popular rookies. The brand is called the "Three to See." In Minnesota, the Lynx have their "Four to Fear." The Lynx filled four of the 11 spots on the Western Conference squad. At 14-3, they're leading the league by a full two games.
Seimone Augustus has always preferred to stay out of the public eye. With her adopted home state of Minnesota considering a constitutional amendment that would ban gay marriage, the Lynx star is now becoming a vocal proponent of equal rights for gays.
Candice Wiggins scored 25 points, Maya Moore had 24 and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Tulsa Shock 107-86 on Tuesday. Seimone Augustus added 17 points, Lindsay Whalen had 14 and Taj McWilliams-Franklin 12 for the Lynx (13-4). Wiggins and Moore both shot 8 for 12 from the field, with Wiggins going 6 for 9 on 3-pointers.
