The annual UND Homecoming Parade starts at 10 a.m. in Grand Forks. Tailgating starts at 1 p.m. in the Alerus Center parking lot for UND’s football game against Northern Arizona, which starts at 3 p.m.

Missed opportunities hurt UND in 23-19 loss to Cal Poly MustangsUND was forced to settle early in Saturday’s game against Cal Poly. The Sioux settled for field goals, not touchdowns. Cal Poly didn’t settle. As a result, Cal Poly took control of the Great West Conference race by beating the Sioux 23-19 before 9,930 homecoming fans at the Alerus Center.

Authors with area ties will be at UND Bookstore
It’s nice to come home, especially when you can say you’ve written, co-written, or ghost written 17 books while you’ve been gone.
On Friday, as part of UND Homecoming festivities, authors Darwin Holmstrom and Nick Maurstad will be at the UND Bookstore in Grand Forks at noon and 6 p.m. to read from their work. An informal reception will be held at Whitey’s Stone Room after the evening reading.
