An event to raise funds to benefit the family of former Herald Managing Editor Kevin Grinde, a recent liver transplant recipient, is set for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, his birthday, at the Knights of Columbus club in Grand Forks.
A Connecticut woman who was torn to pieces by a berserk chimpanzee has received a new face in the third such operation performed in the U.S. and is looking forward to going out in public again and eating hot dogs and pizza after months of pureed food.
