A Manitoba man, who was driving a car with North Dakota plates, two women and an infant girl were killed in a head-on collision near Lundar, Man., on Thursday afternoon. The bus driver and 16 children were taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
For nearly a year, Todd Brinkhaus had wondered how a trucker could have slammed at freeway speed into vehicles stopped in traffic, resulting in a chain-reaction crash that killed his wife and another driver who was pregnant.
