Cassandra M. Anderson, 25, of McIntosh, Minn., died when the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu she was driving rolled along U.S. Highway 2 west of McIntosh. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
At about 9 a.m., Robert J. Budreau, 33, was driving a 1999 Dodge pickup westbound on U.S. Highway 2 east of Bemidji when he lost control on the icy ditch and rolled in the north ditch.
Budreau and a passenger, Lionell L. Fairbanks, 30, were not wearing seatbelts and were injured.
Grand Forks police are investigating the report Sunday of an alleged accidental self-inflicted shooting that involved no serious injury, according to a police officer. But no details were released Sunday because more investigation is needed.

A Wisconsin man is accused of stabbing a Minnesota man on Christmas because he wanted “to see what it felt like.” Nicholas Leigh Tretter, 29, River Falls, Wis. was charged this week with second-degree assault. The Star Tribune said he was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The East Grand Forks woman killed Saturday in a car rollover near Devils Lake was identified Sunday as Gabrielle Puente, 18. The driver will be charged, said Sgt. Dan Haugen of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
