in these times of high transportation-project inflation, our aging transportation system and competition for transportation dollars, pavement preservation is getting renewed attention all across the county.
Simply put, pavement preservation is taking care of the investment already made in the transportation system.
Average retail gasoline prices in North Dakota have decreased 3.1 cents per gallon the past week, averaging $3.57 Sunday, according to gasoline price website NorthDakotaGasPrices.com. Nationally, the average has increased 0.5 cents per gallon to $3.57.
Construction will begin Thursday on ND Highway 200 north of Hillsboro.
The project consists of reconstruction of ND Highway 200 from Hillsboro north to the junction where ND Highway 200 turns west towards Mayville.
