RiverView Health, based in Crookston, has named Carrie Michalski as its new CEO and president. A 20-year veteran of the company, she most recently served as vice president of operations, and had served as interim CEO prior to the hiring of outgoing CEO Ross Matlack in 2010.
On Dec. 6, RiverView Health employees packed 300 boxes at the North Country Food Bank in Crookston. Employees helped in an effort to help the food bank in its mission to distribute food and other resources to participating agencies.
RiverView Health in Crookston is offering a free CPR program Feb. 10 geared for all ages, a two and one-half hour course about what to do in life-threatening situations, made available by Crookston American Legion Post. 20.
The North Dakota AFL-CIO, North Dakota AARP, North Dakota Farmers Union and North Dakota Women’s network will host a health care roundtable at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fire Hall Theatre, 412 Second Ave. N. in Grand Forks, to discuss health care reform efforts and urge Congress to pass a strong health care bill.
