An account with the handle @ChipotleGF popped up Friday with claims that the Mexican grill chain restaurant was coming to Grand Forks in 2014 or 2015. According to Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold the account is not related to the company.
The menus offered to children by most U.S. restaurant chains have too many calories, too much salt or fat, and often not a hint of vegetables or fruit, according to a study by the Center for Science in the Public Interest.
The owner of the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit restaurant in Grand Forks has opened a location at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Franchise owner Josh Becker, an Air Force veteran who was stationed at the base, said the restaurant has been open about two weeks.
