Jean Rindfuss simply wanted to cook good meatballs. After all, she says, her husband Donald, loves them. But the Mountain Iron resident was dissatisfied with the way her meatballs cooked unevenly in the frying pan or oven.One day, in 2006, Rindfuss had an “aha!” moment.
“Out of the blue, I had an idea for a broiler pan” made specifically for meatballs, Rindfuss said. It would have “indentations for the meatballs to sit in and slots to drain grease.”
