How is a senior citizen supposed to get across town to a polling place if he or she does not have access to a car?
What could be more important than providing easy access to polling locations for people to vote?
A bill approved Wednesday says North Dakota cities with more than 1,000 people must open a walk-up polling place on Election Day. Fifty-five North Dakota cities have at least 1,000 people. At first, the bill asked for a voting station in cities with at least 200 people.
