A 17-year-old is dead after a stabbing. St. Paul police said they arrested a 19-year-old St. Paul man in the stabbing of Darius Derrick Maxwell, St. Paul, about 12:05 a.m. Saturday. Police said the 19-year-old broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend and confronted Maxwell about being her boyfriend and stabbed him.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department will continue to issue remaining doe licenses through the end of the archery season. There’s no limit to the number of licenses a hunter can receive. 20-year Devils Lake police chief retires 
Bruce Kemmet said he will miss the camaraderie and variety of job duties“I have 20 years here and I’ve been doing this since I’ve been 19 years old,” he said. “It was just time.” His retirement is effective June 30. A replacement chief has not yet been chosen.
