REGGIE TALES What Are The Vikings Doing?

While most of the Minnesota Vikings held an optional practice at the team's headquarters, Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson could only watch from the sidelines while they work their way back from injuries.
MINNEAPOLIS — So what the heck is Percy Harvin?
“I don’t know what he is, honestly,” Minnesota Vikings receivers coach George Stewart said. “I don’t know if he’s a receiver. I don’t know if he’s a running back. I don’t know if he’s a returner. But I do know this: He’s a darn good football player.”
Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier is facing a big dilemma in his first preseason. His offensive line is all but begging for more playing time to allow the unit to master a new offense and get acquainted with a new left tackle. Timing is a huge part of success for them, and they need all the game work they can get together after being locked out all summer.
The migraines were strong two weeks ago, wide receiver Percy Harvin said, but last week's time in Arizona was more about precaution and learning more about the migraines. He visited Arizona after consulting with interim coach Leslie Frazier and owner Zygi Wilf.
Percy Harvin’s migraine headaches have been a riddle that no one has been able to solve.
After another battery of tests last week, and a promising 2010 preseason debut, Harvin hopes he is getting closer to figuring out a debilitating medical condition that has plagued him for most of his life.
