ND Guard unit might be called for Afghanistan duty 
A North Dakota Army National Guard unit has been notified that it might be called for duty in Afghanistan. The Guard says the Jamestown-based 817th Engineer Company has been put on alert. If the unit is called to duty, about 100 soldiers would head overseas in the spring of 2014.
