The object that prompted a weekend evacuation of the smaller of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's two terminals turned out to be a device used for water purification, an airport official said Monday. Airport spokeswoman Melissa Scovronski said the woman traveling with the device told authorities she needed it for medical purposes.

Terminal 2 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was evacuated for about two hours Sunday and one woman was being questioned by police after authorities found a device that appeared suspicious.
Atlanta-based Minute Suites LLC will land at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport by December, setting up 14 relaxation rooms in Terminal 1 that fliers can rent by the hour. The suites, which will be about the size of a small office, will have a daybed, high-definition TV, desk and free wireless Internet.
The system replaces one that gave Transportation Security Administration employees an X-ray view of air travelers' bodies. That prospect made some people uncomfortable and raised concerns about privacy.
