Police in Maine say someone broke two windows at the home where a toddler was reported missing seven weeks ago. Waterville police said today that the girl's grandmother called police late Friday night to report that someone was throwing things at her home.
Family members of a missing toddler in Maine were told by police that the amount of the girl's blood found in the basement where her father slept was "more than a small cut would produce" but police declined today to say how much blood was discovered.
Voters chose governors in Mississippi and Kentucky today, casting ballots that could foreshadow the public's political mood just two months ahead of the first presidential primary and nearly four years into the worst economic slowdown since the Depression.
