New women’s magazine comes to Grand Forks 
A new free bimonthly magazine is now available in the Grand Forks area.
Grand Cities Woman, published by North Dakota-based Graber Media, includes information for women regarding their homes, kids and professional development, according to a Monday announcement.

Another list, more accolades for Fargo. Forbes magazine’s website released its list of America’s “most transformed neighborhoods” last week, and Fargo’s downtown made the list. “Since 1999 more than $100 million in investments have poured into the so-called ‘Renaissance Zone,’” the website explains. “Building values rose 100 percent from 2000 to 2009 and North Dakota State University’s expansion in the area has led to a growing young adult demographic.” In compiling the list, Forbes’ compilation used the list of 10 Great Neighborhoods released annually since 2007 by the American Planning Association.
