Over the past two years, federal officials say, an estimated 10,000 more veterans have sought medical compensation for diseases related to Agent Orange, an herbicide that contains a toxic chemical called dioxin.
Authorities in Stearns County, Minn., said a 14-year-old boy has been shot in the leg while hunting deer with a group near Spring Hill. The sheriff’s office says the Melrose, Minn., boy was shot about noon Saturday about while hunting with his father and 12 other men.
