Police car demolished in high-speed chase near Langdon 
A Fargo man was arrested Saturday night in Cavalier County after a high speed chase and a collision with a county sheriff’s patrol cruiser that ultimately ended when the suspect vehicle ended up in the water at Mount Carmel Dam. The Cavalier County Sheriff’s Department identified the driver as James Strickland, Fargo.

Long-time editor Neil O. Nelson is back in the saddle at the Hillsboro (N.D.) Banner after a change of ownership. He was editor at the Banner for a dozen years until being let go in April. Kelly Ink in Lisbon, which owns several other papers in the state sold it Friday to a partnership called Sub-Zero Press of Hillsboro, which brought Nelson back.
