Joe Kittell was hired as the men’s basketball coach at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake in mid-April. The North Dakota native, who was an assistant at Gillette (Wyo.) Community College, has hit the ground running. Or maybe more accurately, hit the ground driving.
The Dakota Nursing Program provides students with the ability to become a certified nursing assistant or get their one-year practical nurse certificate, two-year registered nursing degree or move on to a four-year bachelor's degree.
Two of the six semifinalists for the Lake Region State College presidency have dropped out. The Devils Lake school tells KZZY radio that candidates from Idaho and Kansas have withdrawn from consideration.
