Crankbaits, crawlers or a jig and frozen shiner minnow are producing walleyes on the 28- to 32-foot mud and rock reefs in Big Traverse Bay.

Limits and big walleyes remain the norm off the mud flats of Big Traverse Bay in 30 to 33 feet of water, although the reefs are holding plenty of walleyes as well.

Crankbaits or spinner-crawler rigs continue to produce walleyes in 30 to 32 feet of water from the Lighthouse Gap to Morris Point Gap and up to Garden Island. On the main-lake reefs, pink or gold jigs and spinners are a good bet for walleyes as well.
