Dakotas-based Sanford Health says it will begin its Bismarck-based air ambulance service on Monday. Sanford says its AirMed helicopter will provide medical transport to critically ill or injured patients throughout central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota.
The Fargo Veterans Affairs Medical Center and its outreach clinics are expanding the use of telemedicine to provide health care to more vets in rural areas. The Fargo VA center is also adding a 10th community-based outreach clinic in Devils Lake before the end of the year.
