After 19 years with the Herald, Managing Editor Matt Cory has accepted a job as editor of the Bemidji Pioneer. Cory will start his new job in mid-April. He replaces Steve Wagner, who was named editor of the Herald earlier this month.

Grand Forks' WDAZ-TV returned to the airwaves Tuesday afternoon after being knocked off the air. WDAZ and Fargo's WDAY-TV and AM 970 stations both had been knocked off the air after Monday’s storm but for different reasons. The radio station remains off the air.
