The mother of two boys killed by a drunken driver last summer was cited for DUI after rolling her car last weekend, just days after she and her husband stood behind Gov. Jack Dalrymple as he signed a bill strengthening the state’s impaired driving penalties.
I wonder if putting those rotating spikes on the ramps might slow down people who drink and drive. The spikes would mean that when a person goes the wrong way on a ramp, his or her tires would blow out.
Ebony Nichole Miles, 26, was initially charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident that involved personal injury on Feb. 9 a day after the crash. One of the accident victims later died, leading to a charge of manslaughter.
Christian D.D. Stoner was arrested Jan. 3 after his son knocked on the door of a house in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul, according to a criminal complaint. The boy told someone at the house in the 1900 block of Palace Avenue that his father was refusing to take him and his baby sister home, the complaint said.
