Moorhead police say a woman who reported a dog bite Wednesday did not provide accurate information to authorities. The 52-year-old woman originally told police she was waiting for a bus on a street corner Wednesday morning when a dog attacked her and bit her in the face. Police said she suffered substantial injuries. In a follow-up interview with police, the woman said she was in the home of an acquaintance when the incident occurred.
Bites from a relentless pack of dogs killed a 55-year-old New Mexico man with a history of seizures who was found lying unconscious along the side of a road while the animals mauled him, a medical examiner's report said.
