Tammy Lou Lueders, 49, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, died early this morning at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo from injuries sustained in the accident, Gordon stated in a news release. The condition of Bret William Lueders, 47, who was driving the 2000 Harley Davidson, is unknown, the release stated.
The collision, which happened shortly after noon on Becker County Highway 39 about two miles north of Minnesota Highway 34, caused the man to lose control of the motorcycle.
Both occupants of the motorcycle were seriously injured and taken to Detroit Lakes Essentia Hospital. Neither was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, the release stated.

Commissioner Mark Holsten said he wants $20 million set aside for land purchase to remain available.“We are involved in a very delicate business discussion with U.S. Steel,” he said. “The timing has to be right for the two parties to be involved in a business transaction.”
