Jose A. Soto, now a resident of Texas, was indicted today in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis on 17 counts of production of child pornography.
Soto allegedly coerced four girls into “engaging in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct,” according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Minneapolis.
While prosecutors had previously said St. Paul Central High teacher Gregg Larsen took sexually explicit photos of his own foster children and their friends, prosecutors had not disclosed that he took pictures of students from St. Paul Central High School, where he was a special-education teacher and faculty adviser for the film and paintball clubs.
