Jury Acquits Samshal of attempted murder
Travis Samshal, 27, has been found not guilty of attempted murder by a jury of six women and six men in Grand Forks. But it found him guilty of reckless endangerment for firing a rifle toward his roommate in their Grand Forks apartment last December. That means he will serve at least two years in prison.

Marsden found not guilty on all three murder counts
Damien Marsden was found not guilty Wednesday by a 12-person jury on all three murder counts he faced in state District Court in connection to the death of his 4-month-old son.
Marsden, 33, of Grygla, Minn., was on trial for causing a head injury to his son, Rylin Marsden, leading to his eventual death in August 2009.
