A year ago, Grand Forks Central opened the boys basketball season with a win, although it took awhile for the victory to become official. “We didn’t find out about it being a win until January,” Central coach Dan Carlson said. “We didn’t win it (a 61-34 loss to Fargo North) on the court.

Five high school seniors have signed letters of intent to play baseball for UND. The five are: Brett Harrison, Winnipeg; Zach Heaser, Eyota, Minn.; Miles Lewis, Hudson, Wis.; Cameron Powell, Bourbonnais, Ill; and Connor Trygstad, Plymouth, Minn.
