Sixty-five-year-old Carolyn Faye Hampel, of Jackson, entered the plea to embezzlement by a bank officer during a hearing in federal court in St. Paul Tuesday. Hampel admitted stealing between $30,000 and $120,000 from customers of the United Prairie Bank from 2005 to 2011.
