Grafton man facing attempted murder receives bond alteration 
A Grafton, N.D., man charged with attempted murder will be allowed to seek medical treatment at a Veterans Affairs Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn., but his lawyer’s effort to get his bond reduced was unsuccessful. Rodney J. Ebertowski, 57, allegedly charged at Walsh County deputies and Grafton police with a 9¾-inch knife after a drunken car accident in February.

Hoople man faces second attempted murder charge 
Jason Alan Mize, 30, accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend and another man in Hoople is facing the second charge after investigators found more information. Court documents also show he didn't think court-appointed attorney is good enough and asked the court for help getting his belongings back from the ex.

Prosecutors say Minnesota man who set house on fire was jilted ex-boyfriend 
Cass County prosecutors have charged a jilted boyfriend with attempted murder and arson in a fire at the home of his ex-girlfriend's parents. A criminal complaint alleges 22-year-old Brandon Todd Sannan set the house in Chickama Beach on fire Jan. 8 and knew there were people inside. Timothy and Carla Voelke, six grandchildren and another minor child escaped the burning house, which was a total loss.
