The first of it's kind in N.D., the network of 100 workers and 100 volunteers provide for the needs of those with terminal illnesses at home or in assisted-living facilities throughout northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. As one volunteer said, “We want to help them live until they die.”
Altru Hospice invites the public to attend MEND (Meeting and Establishing New Directions), a structured support group designed to help adults face the loss of a loved one and build new direction in their lives.
For people who have experienced loss by death of a loved one, Altru Hospice and Altru’s Pastoral Services will present “Coping with the Holidays.”
