Alerus Financial is expanding again, buying a pension management firm in Michigan, the Grand Forks-based company said this week. Spokeswoman Missy Keney said the two new offices would be the farthest east of Alerus’ several branches. The easternmost offices now are in Minnesota, she said.
Grand Forks-based Alerus Financial will sell its land appraisal and farm management services business lines to Farmers National Co., the latest step in the firm’s move toward concentrating more on its core financial services.
