ND state flour mill profits down, but still good 
Profits at North Dakota's state-owned flour mill fell by half, to $8 million, during its last budget year, the mill's chief executive said Monday. Despite the drop, the Grand Forks mill's annual earnings rank as the third best in its history, said Vance Taylor, the mill's general manager.

Grafton, N.D., ethanol plant could reopen by fall 
Energae LP, an energy investment group based in Clear Lake, Iowa, has signed a purchase agreement to buy the mothballed Grafton facility from Northeast Energy LLC, according to Jerry Krause, a general partner in Energae. The company expects to launch a search for North Dakota investors within the next couple of weeks, he said.
