District 43 race looks close enough for recount
The way it looks now, there could be a recount of the House race in Grand Forks’ District 43, where incumbent Democratic-NPL Lois Delmore was pegged six votes ahead of Republican challenger Don Dietrich for second place in the race of four candidates for two seats. Meanwhile, Republican Curt Kreun, a Grand Forks City Council member, won the other seat with the top vote count of 1,963, including early voting.
