BOYS GOLF: Grand Forks Central to hold opening practice April 8 
Grand Forks Central will hold its opening practice April 8. A parent-player meeting with coaches will be held at 5:30 p.m. on April 4 in room 223 at Central. Players must have a physical and white card from the office to participate. Any questions, call coach Sue Ann Lund. 701-740-3956.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Minot Ryan caps undefeated season with state title 
The Lions waited for two decades, but on Saturday night Minot Ryan once again claimed a North Dakota Class B girls basketball state championship.
No. 1-ranked Minot Ryan defeated No. 8-ranked Central Cass 54-50 at the Fargodome. It is the Lions’ second state title in school history.
