Canada skicross racer Nick Zoricic dies after Switzerland race crash 
The 29-year-old crashed directly into safety nets lining the side of the course after going wide over the final jump. Nick Zoricic is the second Canadian skier to die this season. In January, 29-year-old freestyle skier Sarah Burke died following a training accident on a halfpipe in Utah.

Herm Johnson was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in critical condition, the patrol said. As of today, he was in good condition, a hospital spokesman said. Alcohol use by Johnson was detected, the patrol added.
