Texas Tech, Tubby Smith agree on deal 
Tubby Smith is coming to Texas Tech to try to turn around another wayward program. Smith agreed to terms Monday with Texas Tech to be its next coach, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because an official announcement has not been made.
