German manufacturer to open plant in St. Cloud, Minn. 
A German agricultural equipment manufacturer has picked St. Cloud to launch its first U.S. operations. Geringhoff, of Ahlen, Germany, expects its $20 million plant will employ about 100 people.

Patient attacks 6 at St. Cloud hospital 
Police say the 28-year-old St. Cloud man assaulted a hospital security officer, four members of the medical staff and another patient Tuesday. Authorities say two of the six attacked suffered significant injuries, including wounds that required stitches.

St. Cloud settles officer's discrimination lawsuit 
The city of St. Cloud has settled a discrimination lawsuit filed by a police officer for $73,000, but admits no liability or wrongdoing. Officer Sean Lathrop sued the city and several members of the police department in federal court. Lathrop alleged he was denied equal protection when he worked for the St. Cloud Police Department from 2006 to 2010 because of his sexual orientation.

Tonight's session is the second on a man who was a deacon at the Church of the Holy Spirit in St. Cloud in 1969-70. At least five people have filed police reports accusing him of abuse. He was never charged. He did not become a priest but went on to a career in child protection.

St. Cloud man in jail after SUV rear-ends bus 
Harold James Gross, 72, hit the rear of the bus while it was stopped in the 2600 block of Clearwater Road with its lights activated, according to St. Cloud police. Nine children were on the bus. The bus driver told police the bus had been stopped long enough that students were at the front preparing to exit an opened door when the collision occurred.
