A candidate for North Dakota school superintendent says he's not running for the office after all. Keith Jacobson says Wednesday he's withdrawing for personal reasons. Jacobson filed petitions Tuesday to run for the job. He's one of four people who turned in nominating paperwork.

Classrooms in the Bemidji School District are getting some new names — in Ojibwe. The Pioneer newspaper reports that dozens of signs featuring words in Ojibwe are being made by five students at Bemidji High School and will placed throughout the school district.
