FACES: Florists have rosy outlook 
Dozens and dozens of roses will go out the door of Bauer’s Flowers and Gifts on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day.
None of the roses, however, will come through the doors of the home of flower shop owners Kathi and Jeff Bauer. The Warren couple will be so busy selling and delivering roses to their flower and gift customers, they won’t be home until late that night.

My love for this country took root at an early age. It began at home and blossomed in elementary school. What stands out more than all else are the lifelike portraits of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln which hung on a wall in the first grade room. Back then I knew, by the stories I learned, that these men were to be revered.

He’s confident the going-out-of-business streak will be snapped.
