Two remain in hospital from Thursday crash near Larimore 
Authorities have released the names of the three people seriously injured in a Thursday afternoon U.S. Highway 2 crash just north of Larimore, N.D.
Ross Earl Johnson Jr., 40, Bushnell, Fla., was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Highway 2 en route to Sherwood, N.D., from Grand Forks when Darrell D. Brant, 73, Cavalier, N.D., attempted to cross the highway northbound on state Highway 18.

Local center sets good example 
As the increasingly strident struggle to reform the nation’s health care system continues, Dr. Jon Berg suggests there may be lessons in the workings of a small community clinic serving people in Grand Forks County. Valley Community Health Center, with medical clinics in Larimore and Northwood and a dental office in Grand Forks, recently was named by federal health officials as one of the best rural centers in the nation in caring for people with diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
